Brand & Creative Systems
Sprova is a premium sparkling refresher, designed to make canned drinks feel crisp, clean and easy to enjoy. The brand sits between casual summer refreshment and elevated lifestyle branding, giving the product a look that feels bright and social without becoming loud, crowded or overly polished.
The identity is built around a simple but recognisable product system: a tall white can, a vertical black SPROVA wordmark, small supporting product details and a clear flavour colour band across the top. Pineapple, Watermelon, Orange and Black Cherry each have their own colour cue and fruit-led mood, while the wider brand stays consistent, minimal and confident.
The project brings together packaging design, flavour differentiation, product art direction and campaign-ready imagery. Real fruit, condensation, sunlight and clean surfaces are used to make the product feel cold, fresh and immediate. The result is a refined beverage concept with enough structure to work across cans, multipacks, product photography, ecommerce presentation and lifestyle campaign assets.
Chapters
Challenge
The canned drinks category is crowded with products that often compete through noise: louder colours, heavier claims, busier packaging and exaggerated lifestyle cues. Sprova needed a different route. The challenge was to create a sparkling refresher brand that could feel fresh, social and flavourful while still looking clean, modern and premium-casual.
The product needed to work quickly from a distance. A customer should be able to recognise the brand, understand the flavour and feel the refreshment cue without reading too much. At the same time, the system had to feel flexible enough for multiple flavours, pack formats, product imagery and warm-weather lifestyle content.
The central design challenge was balance. Sprova could not feel too plain, because flavour and summer energy are important to the product. It also could not feel too loud, because the brand needed a more refined and confident presence. The work focused on building a system where freshness comes from restraint, colour and product clarity rather than decoration.
Direction
The creative direction for Sprova is simple: white can, black wordmark, flavour colour, real fruit, cold refreshment.
This direction gives the brand a strong recognisable base. The white can keeps the product clean and premium. The vertical black SPROVA wordmark gives the pack confidence and shelf presence. The flavour colour band adds energy without overwhelming the design. Fruit styling, water droplets and bright natural light bring the refreshment story into the wider campaign world.
Sprova is positioned as a sparkling refresher for bright social moments, warm-weather settings and everyday enjoyment. It should feel stylish, but not exclusive. Playful, but not childish. Premium, but not overly serious. The direction avoids dark luxury cues and instead uses sunlight, fresh fruit, clean shadows and natural lifestyle energy to make the drink feel open, crisp and easy to love.
The brand voice follows the same logic. Short, fresh and confident lines such as “Open something fresh”, “Made for the sun” and “A cleaner kind of sparkle” support the product without overexplaining it.
System
The Sprova system is built around a repeatable packaging structure that can flex across flavours while protecting the brand’s core identity.
Each can uses a tall slim format with a matte white or lightly textured surface. The SPROVA wordmark sits vertically in black, giving the pack its strongest recognition point. Supporting text remains small and secondary, with “Sparkling Refresher” and product details placed carefully to avoid clutter.
Flavour is handled through a controlled colour band at the top of the can. Pineapple uses bright yellow, Watermelon uses pink, Orange uses citrus orange and Black Cherry uses a deeper magenta-red. This creates instant flavour recognition while allowing the range to sit together as one family.
The system extends into 4-pack and 12-pack packaging through the same principles: white or warm off-white base, bold SPROVA wordmark, minimal product information, flavour accents and clear pack count. The packaging should feel fresh, bright and easy to recognise, with enough restraint to hold a premium-casual position.
The rules are deliberately simple. Do not overcrowd the pack. Do not change the logo style. Do not overuse graphics. Let the can, colour, fruit and photography do the work.
Expression
Sprova’s visual expression brings the product system into a bright, sensory world. The product is always the hero, supported by fruit, condensation, clean surfaces and warm natural light.
Product imagery focuses on coldness and clarity. Water droplets on the cans, crisp metallic lids, stone surfaces and real fruit cues make the drink feel chilled and immediate. Pineapple, Watermelon, Orange and Black Cherry each have their own mood, but all sit within the same clean visual language.
The lifestyle expression is social and summer-ready. Sprova is designed for beach days, poolside settings, picnics, gatherings and easy outdoor moments. People, props and clothing can be colour-matched to the flavour system, helping each can feel connected to its own moment without losing the wider brand consistency.
The campaign world should feel natural rather than staged. Real sunlight, relaxed settings, candid expressions and simple styling give Sprova an easy social energy. It is not trying to be a luxury object. It is a clean, confident refresher made for real moments that still look polished.
Impact
Sprova’s impact is best understood as design value rather than measured commercial performance.
The project creates a clear product identity that can be recognised across a flavour range, packaging formats and campaign environments. It gives the brand a simple visual code: white packaging, black vertical wordmark, flavour colour band and real fruit cues. That code makes the system easy to extend without making it feel generic.
The work also gives the product a more ownable position in the beverage space. Instead of relying on loud category conventions, Sprova uses restraint, freshness and clear flavour storytelling to create a premium-casual feel. The system is strong enough for shelf presence, ecommerce presentation, product photography and lifestyle campaign content.
The result is a coherent beverage brand concept with a clear identity, a flexible flavour system and a campaign-ready visual world. It shows how a canned drink can feel bright, social and refreshing while still remaining clean, minimal and commercially considered.
